Sarah Madden is a Leeds based artists, Illustrator
and designer.

The people of Jamaica are my inspiration.

I am 2nd generation, my first experience of
Jamaica was through the stories told to me by its
people - my family. I heard of the beautiful
beaches, mango trees, the smell of salted ocean
air and burning pimento wood, but for me, the
real gem of Jamaica has always been, and still
is, it’s people. The strong culture, diversity and
unity of Jamaica is accredited to its laid-back,
hospitable and kind-natured people.
